Hope-clinging on

Life is not in the same par for everyone nor is it certain. The future might seem bright on one day and gloomy on the other. When your chips are down, I feel that its the responsibility of the people around one to keep him comfortable and make him feel that "this isnt over".The other day I been to dubai's home ,his parents and sister hit me with a variety of complaints against him about not working hard.yes ,its understandable that they are concerned about the future of their young one but invariably they put on a lot on pressure on us.Getting through dental pg entrance aint like a walk in d park.it requires lot of hardwork and patience and support that one must get from the family.
Lot of parents really think that the younger generation have no thought about their future and their life.Im not accusing the family here because its the very soul of everyones life. it has been the concept thats been passed on from generations."Be strict to your small ones otherwise they ll become really bad".what misconceptions!!! being strict ?yes you got to be at times but a pat on the shoulder and a friendly advise would do more than a blow to the shoulder.Kid making a living of the shattered dream of his father.thinking whats best for us is really good but after a point of time i personally feel that we must be treated as friends and not as "the same kids",we once where.we don't want your strict guidelines ,just your advise at the right moments .
A word of encouragement and a "don't worry we have got your back" kind of say does ones confidence a lot of good instead of the pressure they add up on our shoulders which already is under a lot of strain.I beg you not to fracture it.I have also seen a lot of parents who keeps their kids at ease and help them achieve what they set out to achieve instead of making their life appear more gloomy without their very own knowledge.I know you all love us and want us to achieve the best in life but all we are asking is for your support to get through a rough phase.by the end of the day all we need is a lovely family with a happy ,stress free atmosphere to flourish in.I know for sure the generation is changing and those who are in the receiving end will take up the responsibility to be a better elder.are times changing??i personally believe your, what you think you are.Positive thoughts brighten up the darkness and like they say"every donkey has its day":) even we will:):)
